Our Story - 60 Years of Legacy
For over 60 years, Osaka English House has been a place where learning meets cultural exchange.
We began as a family boarding house, offering students a warm home while they studied in Hirakata. Over time, we evolved into an English language center, creating a supportive community where Japanese students develop their language skills through daily practice.
Today, we welcome travelers from around the world to our guesthouse nestled between Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara. We’ve expanded our services while proudly maintaining our educational heritage and family values.
We’re small, we’re personal, and we like it that way. Every teacher here shapes what OEH becomes, and every student is part of our extended family. If this sounds like the kind of place where you’d like to teach, we’d love to hear from you.
