At OEH, we’ve spent 60 years doing things differently. We believe the fastest way to fluency is to have a teacher focus entirely on you.
Our private Japanese classes are exactly that: just you and a teacher, talking about the things that actually matter to your life in Japan. Light Course Program
2 Hours / Day
Perfect for those who want to balance study with exploring the Kansai region and practicing.
Steady Progress
4 Hours / Day
Our most popular choice. It’s the perfect balance of deep grammar study and afternoon exploration.
Immersion Program
6 Hours / Day
The fastest way to gain confidence. You’ll spend your entire day “soaking” in Japanese to see results quickly.
Flexible Pricing
We want to make long-term study as affordable as possible. To keep things simple, we count our lessons in 1-hour blocks. The more hours you book, the lower your hourly rate becomes.
What does this look like in real life?
If you’re serious about improving fast and decide to study 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, here is how it breaks down:
In one week: You’ll complete 20 hours of 1-on-1 study.
In one month (4 weeks): You’ll complete 80 hours in total.
A Typical Month: For 80 hours of private, 1-on-1 lessons, the total would be ¥360,000 (+ tax).
